Where do you get your hair cut? How much do you pay?

I am sort of ashamed to admit I pay $10 to a woman that my mom still goes to. Before that I went to a barber who charged me 5 bucks. I think 10 bucks to cut my hair is pushing it, since im only in the chair a few minutes.

Myself, Free. I do a good job, but I have had a lot of practice and a lot of mangled hair, shaved head attempts in the past.

I use a clippers and do my own in the mirror. 1/8" on the sides and back, 1/4" on the top. The back can be tricky for people who aren't used to doing it, but a little practice and it's fine.

I don't trust those $5 walk-in places. Never, ever will. I have my hair longer than most people and even when I get it cut it still requires a good deal of skill.

Same barber for the last 20 years. 9 bucks. I just sit in the chair and he starts cutting. About 10-15 minutes later he is finished and I'm out the door.

a barber, uses a straightedge and everything to line me up, try getting that at a salon 😛

I used to get it cut at the place my mom went for 12 bucks, but now im on a college campus and everywhere is $18+. Pissing me off I since it only takes 5 minutes to cut!!

I don't get it cut (but I don't have "teh dreads" either).
Although last year my GF did insist on trimming off a little bit because of split ends.

I usually go to Cost Cutters or Style Masters - but I've started letting a friend's friend start cutting my hair. It's better - because IMHO he gives me an honest opinion on what will work, plus he just came to me to cut my hair. He doesn't charge - but I gave him 25 bucks last time.

Now I'm missing my local barber at Salem, OR... 12 a cut, this includes single blade razor shaving as well [not facial but the back hair edges]

At a salon, for free. I take care of the owners web site and the computers in the salon.

He used to charge $20 before I approached him about taking on his i.t. work.

never been to one, but here in austin we have sexy scissors.... its the hooters of hair cutting shops....=)... they even serve beer to you i hear...
