Do most people use drivers from the video board manufacturer or NVidia?

Mine is an ASUS.

What sites do you use?

Thanks,

For best gaming performance and compatibility you'll want to use Nvidia's reference drivers over Asus's OEM ones. However, you might want to resort to Asus's drivers if you use TV-out, since as far as I know, Asus GF2MX uses Chrontel TV encoder chip which differs from Nvidia's reference design TV-chip, Brooktree.

Thanks jpprod,

I don't have TV out, just the Pure. need to update my sig.

From reading, I assume I should also get the detonator 3 drivers...?

Now, if I could just get my SideWinder to be recognized in digital mode.

Detonator3 drivers (any official build, 6.18 or 6.31) certainly are the best choise speed-wise, but seeing that you have a KT133-based motherboard, you'll have to be mentally prepared to go back to 5.xx-series Detonators for stability reasons until Nvidia get's their act together conserning VIA chipset driver compatibility. :)

6.18 and 6.31 releases were unstable on my system (below, in sig) at all AGP speeds and configs, whereas 5.30's run like charm with all bells n' whistles enabled.

I just got me a hercules mx board and I use it with the 6.34 drivers without anything being unstable (only tried playing Nox and Startrek elite forces so far).

edit: got the drivers from here
