I get them done locally... I submit the photos online, and then pick them up at the store... turns out to be around $0.50 CAN per 4x6 photo, which isnt bad... I dont do it often anyways...

I print them with my $120CDN Epson Photo printer and it looks photolab quality in 1440dpi and higher (but it takes about 3mins to print one 4x6 at that quality))

1 ink cartidge = $27CDN and will do about 70 4x6's
buy thick photo paper - $25 CDN for 100 sheets, can print two 4x6's on each

net cost about $0.63CDN per photo or about $0.35-$0.40 US (probably cheaper) from the comfort of your own home :D

then you gotta factor in the printer cost.. heh. I want a home printer w/ individual tanks... like the canon s900/0. Problem is, canon's have sucked for text in the past. And an epson.. i don't like cause of the whole clogging (i've had enough of it). And i want borderles 4x6's... heh.. all at the cost of $200 for the printer and ~.50/image cost..

but, since that won't happen, i've used shutterfly, i liked the quality. ofoto didn't impress me too much (cousins camera tho). Trying walmart now.. and not convenient for me cause it's not near school (15-20min from home), and takes forever to get there :(
