Where do you get premium butane fuel for lighters?

I got a new waterproof/windproof lighter for when I go camping. I want to put premium/triple-refined fuel in there because they burn cleaner and burn better at high altitudes.

I went to Ace Hardware, Walmart, and Kroger, and the only brand they carry is Ronson, which I've heard is horrible. Are there any other brick and mortar stores that carry premium brands?

I've bought Calibri at a smoke shop before. They also sell it online, but the shipping is up there.

Try Big 5, I think they carry some other brands. Also, I've seen Colibri at Tinder Box stores. (a cigar store chain common in malls) I would check and see if you have a Tinder Box anywhere near you, then call cigar stores in your area. Shouldn't be TOO tough to find.

They have bulk zippo lighter fluid on amazon. 24 for about 14 dollar shipped I think.

edit: didn't saw you want B&M stores.

I've collected butane lighters for @ 20yrs. Good butane and good refill practices are essential to keep them reliable. You can buy the name brand (Dupont, Dunhill) fuel and it's excellent but pricey. I buy from this guy and it's equal to the name brands but cheaper. His refill instructions are excellent also. The only thiing I could add is, put the lighter in the freezer for 10-15 mins before refilling. The temp difference between the can and lighter seems to make them fill better.
