I have a cooler that I am not using and would like to use on a video card (that is not currently in my possesion). If I could find out what spacing is on the holes that surround the GPU, I would know if the cooler would at least 'bolt-up'.

Something that would tell me what the distance between the holes
LIKE THIS SHOWS.. Of course, that picture only shows for the #5 cards and I am pretty sure that some companys won't use the 'standard' or 'referance' design, but at least I would have an idea.

Basically, I should get this card back from RMA on Mon. or Tues. If I know that what I have won't work, I could start making arrangements to get a different cooler.

-Thanks, Ken

BTW: THIS gets me a bit closer to what I am looking for (I'd rather see the card itself, rather then the cooler).

Whats the card, and what cooler are you trying to throw on it? That would help much more and you could get a yes/no as to fitting.

Oops... I didn't link to THIS THREAD.

Someone has offered help (since I created this thread) and it seems that the cooler I have really is a X2. There is differences between the pictures @ Newegg (which is where I bought it) and my cooler which had me concerned about what cooler I really have. Don't get me wrong, it worked fine for me. I just want to re-use it on a X1650 Pro or on a 8600GT or I want to get rid of it. Of course, knowing what you really have helps when you want to research it or when you want to sell it (describe it) to others.
