Where do you draw the line with your significant other and cheating?

Don't know why this came to mind, but I'm sitting at work and I'm bored:)

Where would you draw the line with your significant other (GF/BF/Husband/Wife) as far as cheating is concerned?? Would it be a passionate kiss from someone other than yourself, a steamy chat-room/telephone conversation, late night touchy feely session, or do you look past all of that stuff and just go ballastic at your significant other having sex with another person? Of course, you would have found out about each of these cases on your own (or had your significant other tell you).

So where do YOU draw the line?? At what point would you be like hold the f*&k on!!!!!!!!!!:p

If I have even a thought about gratification or any other sort of soul-tie with anyone but her in a romantic sense or anything other than a plutonic relationship, I'm cheating. I expect the same from her.

I consider all of the above cheating. If I'm with someone and we're supposed to be in love....there would be no need to look for affection elsewhere. JMO

It wouldn't be so much the cheating that bothered me as it was the breach of trust. That's the one thing I hold in highest regard in a relationship. If you don't have trust, what do you have? You can't have friendship or unrequited love. At that point I'd consider the relationship unsalvageable.
I've never had a g/f cheat on me, partly because I make sure I don't associate with people of low moral fiber, and also because I'm so freaking good in the sack they'd have no reason to. ;)

When your member is up somebody's rear you are probably cheating on your significant other.

All of the above show that the other person isn't getting everything they need from me and it's probably time to break up anyway. :)

All of the above is considered cheating. If she wants to play the field then she shouldn't of commited herself on the alter. I don't mide her checking out a good looking guy but anything beyond that croses the line. Sames goes with me.

A relationship isn't real until there is a commitment, an emotional commitment. If feelings are extended to another outside of your relationship, that is cheating. Could only be thoughts, but feelings and longing will be generated from those thoughts.

Unless your significant other has broken the trust that is implied in a loving relationship, then you should focus all your happy/sexual thoughts only on your wife/girlfriend. Makes for a much better relationship, because you are with the woman of your dreams........:D

Of course all of the above is cheating, but when do YOU draw the line and break it off for good?

lol, I had an open marriage, unfortunately my now ex neglected to inform me of that fact, cheating equals
out sleeping with, spending money on some biatch while I'm out breaking my arse to keep our heads above water .You want to be with me, be with me, if you don't hit the road but you don't get to have your cake and eat it too !

I love her so bad it hurts! I honestly can't say what I would do under any of the given circumstances, I'd have to be in that position(I hope it never happens!) before I could hope to answer that question. I won't even venture an armchair quaterback answer either.

It is hard for me to answer this, but I believe in a marrage everything is based on trust. If the action caused me to lose my trust in her then I would consider it to be over.

I have to say, that in my time I've been on both ends of the spectrum. I've seen the cause, and the effect. If your in a relationship with someone and the idea that its exclusive of other parties, any venture outside these lines, whether it be implied or known, is cheating.

A breach of that trust can be devastating, and always brings sadness.

my girlfriend has the best idea of cheating:

Cheating is anything you wouldn't do with a person if your significant other was sitting next to you.

Whenever I get cake I eat it too. :) Although I'm not a particular fan of cake.

Cheating is anything you wouldn't do with a person if your significant other was sitting next to you.

So your girlfriend considers hanging out with your buds cheating?
