What Asus motherboard (number) are you referring to? Nforce is not a model number that I know of. I have used nothing but Asus mobos for the last 6 years and that question is always answered in the user guide/manual showing all the LED connections.
I downloaded the manual and on page 26 it shows how to install ram, I dont have the original manual because I built this pc for my cousin, and he has all the manuals

All you have to do is go to the Asus website and down load the current manual for that mobo in PDF format - You can even print it out in color on full size pages and it is much nicer than the printed version. SteelyKen is close - look in the manual on Page 35 in the Connections section. Good connecting! 🙂
Ok, I am looking at the pdf now and the page on installing the RAM is labeled "14" and the page with the ide connector is labeled "26". Now, there are 9 pages labeled in Roman numerals that precede the actual beginning of the book, so that is why (I guess) there is some confusion on which page it is.
