Where do you buy your stuff?

Hey. Does everyone usually buy from Newegg, or is there some site where I won't be charged tax? I think mwave had CA tax too. Any site where I won't get charged tax, or is it unavoidable?

PS: I know usually you should try to pick something up at Fry's or another local store to save shipping costs, but sometimes they you can't find what you need.

edit1: Well Newegg, mwave, zipzoomfly are all in California, but tigerdirect isn't so they don't charge sales tax.

It says Walnut, CA on their website. Looks like that's a bit east of LA.

They took forever to ship my stuff though. Tt took several days before they got my order in the mail. I had to call and hassle them... asked y they had not shipped my order. Then it was shipped. And I am only 30 min away. I could have will-called and it would have been faster.
 
TigerDirect is in Florida. ZZZ, NewEgg are in California. So is MWave.

One ofthese days sales tax will be charged everywhere. 🙁

When that happens, local stores will be competitive when you factor in shipping.
