I buy from the cheapest place I can find, except under special conditions (e.g., the P4T-E, where you'd need to make sure to get ICS clock generators).

I've been tracking prices for an AthlonXP and a P4 system on both Newegg and Mwave recently, and it seems that a combination of slightly increasing prices on Newegg and slightly decreasing prices on Mwave have brought these two internet companies closer in pricing than I've seen before.

mWave sucks lately for me, for a variety of reasons.
NewEgg.com, Buy.com...

Mwave rocks if you live within driving distance. You can order online, driver over there, pick up your parts at will call and on the way home stop off at In-n-Out for a Double Double and shake.

You may also wanna check out directron.com. I usually shop at NewEgg though.

You should check a site like resellerratings.com to see how an online retailer stacks up. I've ordered from sncomputers.com and received no product, no returned emails, and no phone response. I just hope they don't charge me!

My favorite retailers:

towerhobbies.com
crutchfield.com
newegg.com
