Where do you buy your DVD blanks?

I just bought 2 25 packs (DVD-R/DVD+R), for about 58 bux from Amazon.Com

I was happy. These were my first blanks, and I wanted both formats to start playing around with my DVD players at home to see what works where.

shouldn't be paying much over $1/disc

meh.. it was the day after I recieved my Pioneer A06 so I just grabbed the cheapest I could find at the time.

is there a better place online?

Surf ATHD... I think there's a CD&DVD media thread floating around somewhere... managed to pick up Memorex DVD-Rs (could have been +R if I so chose since deal applied to either) for $50 for 2x25pk spindles.

Memorexs are Ricohs it seems... my Sony likes them for some reason and doesn't like FujiFilm DVDs (TYs)???

Meritline.com and I'm going to start using Ritek G04's exclusively.

I heard the Ritek G04's are really really good...

i just checked Meritline and Rima...

Meritline is $123 for the Ritek G04 1X-4X DVD-R Blank Media 4.7GB for General Purpose DVDR Disc 100 Pack
Rima is $115 for the Ritek/RiDATA DVD-R 4.7GB, 4X, 100-Pack

guess i'll use RIMA

Usually ebay. Up until now, some place called Rapidscape Interntational. They used to send me emails and coupons and deal but I haven't got one in a while.

I ONLY buy Ritek G04's...the best DVD media out there.

Office Depot usually has some good deals on DVD Media. They sometimes have a buy 1 get 1 promo and if you buy a couple packs you can use another dollar off coupon too. Best Buy has had some decent deals. I usually only buy name brand media like Fuji, Verbatim, or Memorex. I have tried any of the smaller label stuff of the net.

blah... my second experience w/ meritline was a crapper.. they sent me the wrong spindle of dvdrs (optodiscs instead of riteks, g03's at the time). I contacted them, they said they'd send out a new batch.... I check the UPS shipping info, and it's addressed to someone in another city (granted, it's nearby). And this was after numerous emails... I finally got them thru the phone. Never got resolved either.
