Where do YOU buy your car batteries at.. And Why?

Ok, so I had to replace the Jeep's battery yesterday. I did a quick run to walmart and bought one of theirr 'elite yellow' batteries and I started wondering where other people buy their car batteries at. I usually buy them from Walmart because of their 3 year warrentee, and they put that info in that little side pocket so it is aways there when you need it.. Not really sure how their prices stack up against anyone else, never really shopped around for batts.

anyone?

CostCo, cheap with excellent warranty.

If the warranty doesn't work out they have the BEST return policy.

I bought my car's battery at Walmart. After hearing how these Optima Red Top batteries were all the rage in the riced out import world, I read Consumer Reports where they did testing on them and compared them to other brands. Let's just say that the $100+ Optima was outperformed by a $40 Walmart battery. And that $40 Walmart battery is in my car now.

Never really shopped around for batteries. The last time I ever replaced a battery, it was in my wife's old car and she had a warranty from the shop that sold her the battery, so she got a new one for free.

I have heard that Sears' Die Hard batteries are good though.

I also get car batteries, for myself and my friends, from Costco. They are the bomb, yo! 😉
