Just curious where everyone goes to buy ink carts from...

Do you find that itis best to buy an ink cart and refill kit?

re-inks.com seems to have pretty decent prices, but I haven't used them before. Personally I am looking for a black cart for the Dell 922, but I'd still like to know in general regarding the best place to go for ink purchases.

Unless you're printing in color, why not buy a cheap laser printer? Toner doesn't dry up and the printouts don't smudge if wet fingers touch them (granted, not all inks smudge, either). I bought an all-in-one (printer, scanner, copier) Samsung laser printer for $60 at Staples a while back. Nice little printer, the toner cartidges are rated at 3k pages and toner refills cost about $8 on ebay. You can supposedly refill the cartridges one or two times before the drum needs replacing...dunno, I've yet to print that many pages to find out.

I've always bought from MegaToners recently...99 cents per ink cartridge (my printer uses 5)...so $20 will buy you enough ink to last well over a year. (Generic obviously, but I've had no problems with it even printing photos.)

My printer is a Canon iP4000.
