Where do short Asian people buy their clothes?

So I'm trying to buy a whole new wardrobe for my dress clothes for work and I noticed that nothing fits.

I don't care if my everyday clothes, (hoodies, jeans, tshirts) don't fit right as they're just casual, but dress clothes for work has to fit right. I went to the mall the other day and there were three kinds of dress shirts, regular, fitted, and slim.

Lets just say 80% were regular and 20% were split between fitted/slim. My size is a small fitted or slim, but this size is nearly non existent. Everything was Regular large/XL, pretty much it looks like I'm wearing a poncho.

So does anyone else have this problem? If so where do you buy your clothes? I forgot to mention that I have a muscular build so thats also a problem.

Thanks for the brooks advice.

Baby Gap? lol funny, but after shopping I've realized that the majority of people are fat. Everything is huge and straight, perfect for the overweight person.

BR seems to have a fetish for skinny male clothing.

I don't really need skinny clothes, I need clothes that are more tapered because I have a broad chest.

I get most of my shirts from Banana Republic. Use to get them at Express, but their quality sucks. I think DKNY and CK also make fitted shirts.

Children's department.

I actually have a dress shirt I bought from that department. I had to make an urgent presentation.. so I went to the city mall and I tried almost every brand from every store, but nothing fits. As a last resort I sneaked into the Children's department and tested.. voila, they fit perfectly.

It's true but that's because it's produced for the masses. Usually the really cheap brands have the worst cuts because their customers are ginormous. If you hit the gym up now you'll see all the New Years resolution people who end up disappearing by mid February. It's usually a bunch of fatties. I don't think they quit because they're lazy. It's probably just too easy to get in their old habits.

The problem with the BB shirts from what I've read is the slim shirts are slim compared to their regular shirts which are produced for whales. So you'd have to get them tailored. Thomas Pink slim shirts are supposed to be slim but they're $$$.

Pants: Get then tailored to fit.
Shirts: Banana, or cruise Macy's. It takes some time, but they may have some you'd fit.

J.Crew (XS or S), Banana Republic, H&M, Gap, American Eagle (if you're a kiddy and like big labels) and custom made.

BR small is excellent for my 37" chest. Their Small stuff is just a tad long since I'm 5'4", but it's only an issue because my legs are so short relative to the rest. Just scored a 38S $400 blazer on sale, and it's a pretty good fit overall, but it's made for fat people (big waist). I need a tailor...

J.Crew is a new discovery for me (no stores in Canada yet, shipping is rape). Their XS shirt sizes (regular) are very slim fitting, so S is an option. Haven't tried jackets yet.

Gap was amazing last year, but too many people complained, and it looks like they made everything bigger and longer this year.

H&M is fine. I like their European fit suits, dress wear. Their casual stuff is cheaply made unfortunately.

You can always goto a tailor and get your jeans pants hemmed, and shirts taken in. Cost a bit more but everything will fit perfectly.

Yep, tailor it. The same 32x32 pants from the same pile can be different lengths and since I'm a 31 inseam, I just always buy 32's and tailor when needed.

Shirts, I usually get from Express (love the 1mx's I can get for like 25 bucks). Slim fit, and they get tucked in. Can also be tailored.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm gonna definitely check these places out. I noticed that its going to cost me more money to buy fitted clothes. This sucks.

Thanks for the tips. I'm very similar to your size. I'm 5'4" with 39" chest and 31" waist.
