hahaha oh man that title is ripe for teasing!
ill try not to crack any jokes ;)

you can out the probe anywhere - some ppl use it on their memory or the back of their vid card. unfortunaltly it cant just give you a plain old "case air temp", so you cant use it that way.
i have one myself and cant fgure a good place to put it.
you could always stick it up your <<BLEEP>> ...ooops, sorry

I extended mine and have it hanging outside so I know if I need to wear a jacket or not.

LOL.. JK

I don't have it on anything at the moment, but I would probably stick it on the RAM or Video RAM.

Oh my god plz rewrite that subject my friend...I can't help laughing....:D:):D
Anyway let's get serious and let me ask u sth-Does the ABIT TH7II come with an external thermistor cable to read cpu temp? If u don't plug it, are u sure there is no measurement from the P4's internal thermal diode in the bios?? Maybe they provide that probe additionally to measure any other component's temp? (I got such connectors too on the m/b if I buy a cable like this)
I can't believe it for my mobo's greatest competitor....(ASUS P4T-E) -It just can't be.....

har har. It's a good thing I can take the jokes. :p

my question is obviously a n00b question. I forgot that there was an internal temp monitor in the cpu. doh

The users manual said I could put it on ram, vid card, hard drive etc. I think I'll do that now. :)
