I have a midtower (blizrad 360 case)
all my bays are filled:
tdk burner
dvd rom
sb live! live drive

i only have 3 5 1/4 bays. i use all those components on a daily basis.

however, my machine is so loud that i ordered a baybus kit for my fans.

but where can i mount it?? any ideas??
thx.

This is merely a couple switches to turn fans on and off?

Switches don't need to mounted in a 5.25" cover plate. You could drill the holes in a 3.5" plate too. Or in the side or back of the tower. That goes for kewel blue coloured LEDs too.

send one of the following to me:
tdk burner
dvd rom
sb live! live drive

problem solved

Oh yeah, I'm gonna need the sound card too if you send the live drive, my live value won't work.

If you have a free floppy drive slot, you could drill out your own bus holder, provided the baybus you bought isn't too busy... 4 or less switches...

hey, did you get yours from fanbus.com?
They are really good I think, I got mine from there
I placed it in the last bay
the bottom one, right above my floppy drive.
Then above that I have my volume control for my midiland speakers.
then above that my cd-rw.
so as you see im filled up to......but I chose the botton bay because its easier to get the wires connected to the back of the baybus.
and it cuts down on long wiring also.

"If your looking for a no-nonsense all-in-one solution to your fan controls, or neons, or heck...whatever you have in your case..Make sure you check out the PCMods PCB Baybus!" Very reasonable price ($36.99 US)

$170.00 for a small case w/350Watt PS, three 5.25" external bays and three $5.00 fans punched in the side and top. Wow! Don't hang around virtual hideout anymore. All that kewelness is pretty expensive!

Punch that 8 hole pattern into the side of the case above the two fans. Should be a snap with that template.
