where do I get sata drivers?

I just got a Raptor and I can't install it because I don't know where the SATA drivers are. I have my mother board CD rom but how the hell am I suppose to know what file to use to make a floppy?? It's rediculous they dont just give you the drivers on a floppy. Or if I could just download them to that would be fine. It's an albatron px865pe pro.

thanks

yes. All it looks like is the same bunch of files that are on the CD rom. I need to know what ones in there (if at all) are the drivers to put on the floppy.

Edit: I found a manual on there so I'm going to read through it and see if it helps.

Course you don't get bloody wafers with it. Albatross!

Probably this, might be on the CD already in a folder like "inf" or as a zip

INF
5.00.1012
Win9X/ME/XP/2K
Target Chipset: Intel(R) 82865 G/PE/P

Download the IAA RAID 3.5.0.2600 driver from Albatron's website. Unzip it and there will be a folder named 3.5.0.2600, and inside that folder there will be another folder called 2600. If you run the program called F6 Install 2600.exe it ought to create a diskette that has the proper drivers on it. It seems to be the same driver disk creation program that Intel has listed under their 865PERL support pages.

You might also want to download the Intel Application Accelerator from Intel's website and install that after you've installed the chipset .inf files after you have Windows loaded and running.

Hey tk109 I know this won't help your situation but this is information for everyone else. I bought an Asus P4P800-e Deluxe in June and I thought I was going to end up in the same shape as you and I installed a floppy drive for this purpose but......lo and behold I needed no extra drivers for my 2 WD SATA during XP install.
