Where do I find "kill process"?

??? You know, when you kill a process or a process tree, something has to run after you click it right? What is that process, and where the hell is it? Can I run it from "run"?

edit: as in kill.exe comes along and kills the frozen wmplayer.exe process, and then kill.exe ends. What is kill.exe if it exists and/or how does the dilly-o work?

there is a program called kill.exe that will kill a process by the pid. google it. Not sure what windows uses.

There is no program that actually ends the task. It's just ended.

Exactly. It just force-kills the process. AFAIK there's no way to manually kill a process without a 3rd-party tool in XP.
