Where do I dump old gas?

Just drained my lawn mower's fuel container cuz the old gas is causing it not to start.

Where can I dump the old gas safely? I also have a seperate half gallon of gas(8 months old) from the portable container, i want to dump it all before I get some fresh fuel for my mower.

1. set up fire wood, with flat top
2. set gas container on top
3. put paper under fire wood
4. light paper
5. get the fvck outta there

I have been thinking about what to do with some extra gas I have as welll.. I can only come up with burning it as well...

Put in car when filling up, new gas will dilute old enough to where there won't be any problems. That way you're not wastefull.

Dump the gasoline from the mower in with the used oil the next time you do an oil change. It's a small amount, like a pint or less, right? Waste oil tends to have unburned gasoline in it anyway, so they know how to deal with it.

Assuming the 8 month old gas from the can isn't contaminated with anything, just put it in your car on a 3/4-7/8 full tank. It will be fine there. 8 month old gasoline isn't really all that old.

next time use stabil before you set the mower or bike away for more than 30 days..

though i should be taking this advice, cause i havent done it yet.. and oh yeah keep a full tank of gas.

we have a winnar!

See if your town has hazardous waste recycling service (my town will take used motor oil, etc once ever 2 months I think)

best place for toxics.. 2 liter bottles, then into the weekly trash.
Its a pain getting any place to take old paint, gas, etc.

at least thats what I hear.
