hey guys.. title says it all.. I have an old radeon running on an old PC and i don't want net framework on it.. where can i download custom ATI drivers that dont need .NET and thus that don't install ATI's CCC ?
just get them on ATI's site. You can download just the drivers, or if you get the whole package you don't have to install CCC. .NET is a seperate download from the driver package so no problem there.
I use the latest driver + ATI Tray Tools. Very happy with that small and ligthweight combination, and it also controls my overclocking and GPU fan speed.
Care to inform me how?
I believe I solved his problem. I told him where the drivers were. It's not my fault he can't spend 5 minutes searching on ATi's site before coming to Anandtech and asking.
Umm, maybe i'm missing something, but when you go through the install and select advanced install options or w/e, then you can unclick the WDM drivers and CCC so just the actual drivers for the card install.... Correct me if i'm wrong. : runs off to go try it :
