I have a Dell Dimension 9100 and I am installing a Leadtek 2000 XP TV tuner card. Their is a 4 pin audio connector that is supposed to go from the TV card to your sound card or motherboard(if you don't use a sound card). The problem is I can't find the a spot to plug the connector into the motherboard(I don't use a PCI sound card). Does anybody have any experience with this particular TV card or problem in general?

It goes on the line-in, symbol (<)---, color "light blue". If your mainboard has multi-channel sound, you might have to configure the software to make that jack a line-in.

It's a 4pin connector so it won't plug into a jack...

Sorry but you may have to buy a sound card

As far as a can tell(and I've been looking for a long time), there is no 4 pin connector on the motherboard. Could it be that the Dimension 9100 motherboard is incompatable with TV cards with 4 pin audio connections? That sounds retarded considering how many 9100's there are out there.

Well, if there is no 4 pin CD-Audio in on your Dell mobo, then you are out of luck. Exchange that card for a Leadtek TV 2000 XP Deluxe, it uses the cable that Peter mentioned.

Actually, you could just buy a PCI sound card and stop using the onboard sound... This might be your "excuse" to buy an X-Fi. :)
