Where do I buy....

Where can I find a "carpet protector" to cover a lamp cord? Our couch in our living room is not up against the wall and the end table has my brand new lamp on it...however, it has to be plugged in and therefore, there is about 2 feet or so of cord showing and I don't want to have people, or myself, tripping on it...any ideas on where to find a cord thing to cover it?
