First of all, you should signify you mean significant other, and not just say SO. Also, you ask the question as if you are making a purchase when you choose a mate, which is the farthest thing from the truth.

I wasn't even in the frat, I was just there for the beer. She was only there because her roomate was dating one of the brothers.

Went out for drinks one night and we have spent every night together since (except when we are out of the country).
 
she left freshmen year of school early and started going to Community college and working at blockbuster
I left my freshmen year of school early and started an office job and renting movies at blockbuster.

we started going out, and then ended up both going back to school the next year at the same college.
I left and joined the Army, shes finishing up school, and once I get home were gettin married.

What a story eh?
