Where Did These 10,000 RPM IDE IBM HardDisks Come From?

I was just curious. I've read in a couple threads that people are
running 10,000 RPM IDE harddisks made by IBM.

Can someone tell me what model these are and when they were released.
I thought that the 75GXP and 60GXP were their latest (respectively)
"high-performance" consumer models and they both run at 7,500 RPM
don't they?

I don't actually think people are running them yet, but rather talking about them, cos they are due to be released within the next couple of months.

Thanks everyone - that explains it some.

I've heard some people explicitly say they were using 10,000 rpm ide IBM drives,
but maybe they were mistaken or are running "engineering samples." Thanks. Oh and 7,200 RPM not 7,500 RPM for the 75GXP and 60GXP - thanks - I don't know what I was thinking.

the people that said that must be on crack :) because no such drives are in existance (at least in the consumer market). They are due out shortly though (within 6 months or so is my guess...).
