Where did the Athlon 64 OCing sticky go?

Some of us do have AMD systems you know. Now I have to do some digging before playing with this nVidia 590 board.

there is AT's own article on athlon64 overclocking...

i dont know where the forum based guide went...although that was REALLY helpful for me when overclocking my opteron 170. damn limit at 2.5Ghz.

We're talking about the X2s. Just because Intel has the top performing chip atm doesn't mean I don't want to tweak my X2 machine.

ok, x2's are good cpus. I just sold my opteron 180, it was STILL worth 110. I only got 130 for my e6750 as a comparison...

an X2 isn't an athlon 64. It is an Athlon X2. Athlon 64 are SINGLE core only...

I think back in the day AMD made a few CPUs named Athlon64 X2. But they dropped the 64 bit since really, every processor in the last few years has been one. Intel integrated the AMD64 architecture long ago, and AMD felt it was no longer a useful marketing gimmick (at first it was, since they were the only ones to have 64bit support).

No problem. I keep it bookmarked because so many people ask about overclocking their S939 Computers because they don't want to have to buy a whole new system, and it sin't stickied anymore.
