Where did my thread go?

My thread about why pornography is considered bad seems to have disappered. In the past I have head threads deleted, but not after 2 days, 150 replies, and without an email. Any explanation?

Your thread about porn had become raunchier with the passage of time, and it was beginning to stink. Threads on such subject matters often deteriorate, as new posters try to outdo previous posts' grossness factor.

Not having read it, I can't say for certain, but how had the tone of the thread progressed? Perhaps it was deleted to avoid things degrading to the point where they start to get out of hand?

As far as I know, no one was posting links to porn or anything, and it was pretty much on-topic...
