WTF? 2nd rig in profile win 2k. OS on c parition, got home today and the D partition is GONE, says it needs to be formatted and shows 0 size 0 bytes etc. Had PC Cillen with all the updates?
HELP!!!!!!!!!
Any way to bring the drive back?

Oh, of course it asks if I want to format D when I click on it or click something that was on it. My guess is Virus city!

If it is not a virus: Could be your MBR (Master Boot Record) has become corrupted. Try repairing your C: MBR. I think the command is MBR /R but I am not certain. Use a DOS boot floppy to be in DOS when you enter that command while logged onto C:

Norton Utilities use to be able to repair the MBR with its Rescue disks. May not be available for XP thought. May not work at all if your hard drive is NTFS formatted.
