Where could one compare styles among very nice business suits online?

Get it tailored, I suppose...I'm more concerned with looking at what styles are out there...been out of the suit game for a while

You would do much better to just go to Marshall Fields or some other such store and just browse, try a few on, etc.

Just go to Macy's. Most Macy's have a pretty good selection of suits across the "usual" price range, i.e. $200 to $3000. If tou know your sizes (jacket chest, arm inseam, and length; pant waist and length) then I don't see why you couldn't buy suits online and have them tailored locally. You'd probably want to go in person though to make sure the fabric is nice and that you like the color.

Does the AAFES catalog sell suits?

Have a look at Nordstroms, Polo, Smartbargains, and ebay. Tons of suits listed on ebay.

There are none of either of those stores around here

Men's warehouse? Or other Mens only stores?

Or Hects, Macy,s Nordstroms, Lord and Taylor, Bon-Ton, heck maybe even goodwill 😀

When you say 'nice' suit, how nice are you talking? Something to get the job done, or something that will make you look your very best and feel great doing it?

If you were in NYC I could give you some places to get nice threads at good prices. I'm talking Canali, Versace, Brioni, Zegna, etc, the good stuff.

Do not go to Men's Wearhouse for a 'nice' suit, if you appreicate quality. Their quality is crap, just feel the fabric.

I like Armani dress shirts.

Really, mostly window shopping, but yes, I'd be leaning toward the latter

You really can't shop for suits online. They never have the same suits in store as they do online, and they don't look the same on some guy on your monitor as they do on you.

Armani's lines are spectacularly overpriced, their style is pretty bland and out of date, and if you want to fork over money to impress people with the name, you can just buy a suit by Vestimenta, who makes their Black Label suits anyway, for much less.

Ordering suits online isn't a problem at all if you know your measurements and how they stack up with those of the suit. If you're dealing with an eBay seller who knows how to properly measure a suit, you can do well there if you know what kind of merchandise to look for.

GO to the store!!! Suits especially all have different cuts which fit better everywhere. and you can't trust sizes alone. when i was shopping for one last time, the more expensive one's shoulders were just tight, but the cheaper one fit like a glove.

As said before, not many suit stores around here...

for those prices you can have a tailor make you a suit

I'm having a tailor make me one (some) for much less than those prices 🙂

I just don't know what the best styles are...
