Go to an army surplus store. A lot of them have repro's of all kinds of uniforms.

You should really reconsider that. Get a regular Wermacht uniform or something. For the love of god not an SS uniform. I might kick your ass myself if I saw you wearing that. (almost 200 members of family died in camps in Poland)

Any reason why you want to represent pure evil for Halloween? I mean, even the devil would be disgusted with you...

Here is a place you can get decent repro WWII German Items: HERE

However, if you are looking for the classic "Black" style uniforms most people think of when they hear "SS" you'll want an Algemeine SS uniform. Generally these are quite pricey and harder to come by.

I'd really, really recomend you reconsider buying one for Halloween. I have several uniforms complete with peaked hats, belts, the whole deal. I wouldn't do it and I can. You're asking to get the crap kicked out of you, and at the very least hurt peoples feelings. I wouldn't be suprised if some old 80+ vet would try to lay a can of whoop ass on you.

I can see a tasteful use of an SS costume....

Eddie Maiden head, knife in the back, etc... Make it like a ghost or beat to crap loser, etc.

Picturing Ed Harris in the movie Enemy at the Gates. The standard Wehrmacht uniform looks pretty damn impressive in its own right.

Generic random google image.

Why don't you go with some lederhosen instead? Much less insulting, gauranteed to get a laugh at the party. I wore mine one Halloween, it was great.
