Does anyone know a link to a laptop that has a AMD? MOBILE ATHLON?64 3400+ CPU w/ Hyper Transport Technology ~ CNBC62 processor, I cannot seem to find any. If you do know could you please paste the link, thank you.


 
AMD has never needed anythin like Hyperthreading.

At the moment its very hard to find a Turion, same like with the X2, these are the latest Cpus and they will hit the market in June.

Take a look in the notebook forums i mentioned some laptops with Turion and X700 graphics for under 1300$

MSI M645 12" with integrated graphics
MSI S270 with 128mb integrated graphics
Averatec 4155
Acer Aspire 5021 and 5022
A6700K

Iam a lil more adventous about building my own notebook, since i know the MSI Megabooks will come as barebones too. They got the whole feature set (modem, wlan, bluetooth, graphics, dvd burner..) but come without a CPU, Hdd and the Memory. As u can see these models listed above suffer from only beeing euqipped with the lower-end Turions, 512mb Ram and 5400rpm hdd`s. Iam close to preorder a MSI M635 barebone with X700 graphics for abhout 700 Euros (and add a ML34 [260$], 7200rpm Hitachi hdd [130$], 1x1024mb memory [110$]. The Megabooks will come to resellers in 2 weeks, but MSI seems to concetrate on European market, maybe because AMD´s Fabs are in germany, thus i cant say when any of these books will come over to ya. And dont forget, these are the very first Turion books. But since specs and prices are kinda great, makes sense to keep an eye on the turions.
