Ive never played it, it looks like the original c&c, emperor battle for dune was enjoyable too therefore i must play this game!

Ebay wasent too helpful. gameplay.co.uk and play.com dont have it.

I wasnt too impressed with the game, but then I got raped repeatedly online so that must explain why. It;'s a lot like Red Alert but with 3 sides.

I bought a copy years and years ago, if I can find it i'll let you know. The CD is a bit scratched up though and could use a disk dr cleaning.

I have Dune 2000 but I have no idea if it'll work with a modern system. Who is this "everyone" that is on a Dune 2000 fad?

Oh ok...

I'll send you the CD if it means that much to you. But again, I can't guarantee it'd work on a modern system. I can try to install it on our current systems to check if you want.

Sweeet, that would be awsome. Apparently itll install on XP but theres a few issues that i gather are fixable.

I just installed it on both of our computers. We can get it to run, however you have to escape past all of the movie-clips, cause it gets really really slow during them for some reason. Possibly a compatibility issue with DVD-ROM devices. Also we are not able to play it on the LAN. I guess it's too old of a game to recognize a LAN network?

I played a quick single-player game. Honestly, I don't remember the game that well, but it didn't seem to let me scroll all over the map. I could only scroll a very short way, then it'd stop. I'm not sure if that's part of the game, or if it's an issue you'll have to work out.

At any rate, I also still happen to have the instruction book for it. The disk is in good condition with no scratches.

I have to go to the post office to get a passport soon anyway, so I can throw this in the mail to you at the same time. I'm obviously just going to send it 3rd class shipping, so it probably won't get to you for a week or two, depending on where you are.

Let me know if still interested.

P@P Torrent?

I have a copy in the basement somewhere... it will play on XP, though there will be no multiplayer.

PS did you try... FS/FT?

Ahh, memories. I played Dune II. Loved that game. Playing the last levels as the Harkonnen was nice - build as many palaces as possible. Each one came with a Death's Hand missile. It didn't really matter that they were horribly inaccurate when you can launch more than 10 of them in a row. :D

I have it somewhere at home. Now you made me want to play... I know I have the disk, I wonder if I still have my key.
