Where can you find old car parts online. I'm looking for a bumper in specific.

My girlfriend backed into a lady a few weeks ago and the woman agreed to let her find a used bumper. The dealer wants $600 for a new one and $200 to paint it.

It's a 93' Ford Escort GT front bumper in particular. Black color.

Thanks

Hmmmmmmmm the best thing to do is pull out your phonebook and look in the yellow pages under "auto parts - used" and call some salvage yards and see what they have laying around.

I should have mentioned I tried that. In 3 different counties. I know I can do better that $800 for a fiberglass bumper.

Hehe yikes, I bought an absolutley huge front end for my daytona, with motorized headlight buckets and all for $60 at a local yard! Maybe look around and see if there are any escort enthusiasts groups on the internet?

One word: Junkyard. Some of them let you walk right in with your tools and pull what you need. Also I know some junkyards pulls these parts and put them in inventory. Might need a little paint but odds are you will find what you're looking for if you look long enough.

Look here.

This is an online search engine for junkyards. You put in your zip code, pick the make/model/year and it'll find the part for you.

EDIT: I searched for your part using my zip code and found 3 places that say they have it.
