Where can you download AOL (full download not the 500K)

I need to download it for someone's laptop. All I can find it the 500K download which then tries to install AOL.

Many of us have to fix computers, for family or for $$, for people who require AOL's handholding and wouldn't think of giving it up, despite it being so awful, bloated, buggy and overpriced. I'm guessing he has no choice, I know I've been in that situation

You can check some local stores for a CD maybe? Some places hvae them on the counter, for free of course. Alternatively ask your friends, anyone on their mailing list has tons of the CDs. Most/all are probably in the garbage, but maybe you'll get lucky & find one who needed a drink coaster

Add to that Office Depot, Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA - AOL CD's with full AOL 9.0 install are free all over the place. They also come inthe mail - I must have several around the house - always have one in my toolkit for exactly the reason you stated - a client who uses it.

I had some (like 40) CDs on my wall before I moved. But I guess that doesn't help you out much, huh.... Walleyworld it is.
