Yeah thought of Ebay etc problem is most come from China or states and would never make it here on time. The person I'm asking for may have found a source, but was kinda thinking maybe that I'm missing something that I did not think of checking.

I bet if you look there are companies that will come out and set them up and take them down the day after cheaper than buying them.

Even in the great white north.

Negatory. Op lives in small northern town. There is more moose than people up there.

I'd keep them, and distribute around town. Stick them in people's yards when they aren't looking. Would be interesting to see how many people kept their flamingos.

population ~42,000

might be big enough, might not be

Usually people that put up rental tents for outdoor parties do this kind of stuff.

I think they may have found a place that might actually rent them. They don't really do it anymore but still have them so they might still come out and do it. Issue is, people here steal the weirdest thing, and they had issues where they kept getting stolen. Biggest thing being stolen right now is children bikes though, so maybe flamingos are safe lol. The theft seems to come in cycles and concentrates on rather specific things. Last year it was those laser Christmas decorations.
