Where can we buy rear speaker stands?

All the new speaker systems have 2-3 rear speakers but no stands. Where do they expect us to put them, on our chairs?

Creative Labs provided them for their Cambridge Soundworks' Digital Theatre line but theyve stopped that now. Rear speakers should be like rear speakers -- at ear level -- so where can these be purchased for the Logitech Z-series, Klipsch Promedias, and CL Megaworks/Inspire speakers?

And whatever happened to Monsoon speakers as cutting edge products? Have they exhausted their coolness factor?

The Klipsch ProMedia's don't have keyhole slots in the back for hanging.

I mounted my rear surrounds on the ceiling, in back of me.

I drilled two holes, one in each "leg" of each rear speaker's base. I put hollow-wall anchors in matching holes in the ceiling. Viola! The perfect location. No wires to trip over, either. I used mug hooks (C-shaped screw-in hooks) screwed into the ceiling to support the wires.

Link to speaker stands. I don't see megaworks though.

Yeah, me neither. I think what mchammer meant was that partsexpress.com sells stands that fit his Megaworks, but arent designed specifically for it. What I'm looking for are stands that fit the speakers perfectly, as if they were designed by the speaker manufacturer themselves. If I just wanted stands that fit, I could find that anywhere.

Check their stores or catalogs, as their website pretty much blows, and only lists mainstream items. They have a couple which are 2 feet and 4 feet in height (perfect for home theatres and any small/medium sized satellite speakers). They even come with paper templates so you know exactly where to drill into your speakers if need be. All wiring is through the stand so it has a clean finish. The only draw back for these were that they come in unfinished, poured concrete bases, which a can on black krylon spray paint fixed up good. Good luck.
