I went to Best Buy today and they only have low end Logitech and Microsoft mouses, and only one keyboard to display. Fry's is too far away, and I'm not even sure if they have that many devices on display.

I really want to try all the different Razer mouses.

There is also Office Max, Staples, & Office Depot. Maybe there is a local computer club or society in your area where you could interact with other members who might be using what you want to try?

Agree, with Staples or Office Max type stores. And while you can get a good feel for how a keyboard is to your liking, as well as a mouse's overall size, fit and button placement, you can not see how well it will track as most stores, they are not actually hooked to a computer.

its what we get for buying everything online and forcing the box stores to run more efficiently. thats not to say there ever was that great of displays at worstbuy anyway.

because of this though, i sadly find newegg/amazon reviews to be the most helpful. look for things like "im a large man with big hands, and this is great" etc.... to me its the best way because driving around in busy areas of a city just to feel out a few mice is a terrible waste of time. especially when you finally decide the best mouse cant be bought in a box store and you have to get it from newegg or amazon anyway.

Staples, Office Max, and Office Depot have LOTS more stuff sitting out on display.
Best Buy only keeps high profit margin stuff in stock, which usually means two models of Logitech, 2 models of Microsoft, and whichever Razer happens to be the most expensive at the time.
