anyone know of any stores or online places where i can sell some older equipment?

obviously eBay and anandtech

its not exactly old equipment, just stuff we dont use anymore.

Depends on how old the eqipment is. If it's really old you can pay people to take it away, if it's not so old I think your best bet is to find locals or advertise in newspapers. Shipping can be a pain...
 
You mentioned the anandtech FS forums, but I just wanted to point out I have sold a ton of stuff there and its a pretty good place to sell stuff. The only draw back is shipping. You get a ton of exposure to a targeted market that doesn't cost anything. Everyone that I have dealt with has been great. You might want to give it a try.

I second the For sale forum ,I have sold and bought a ton of stuff here and is also carefully moderated for trolls
