Aside from Ebay and Craigslist, is there a good site out there where I can sell new smartphones? Thanks.

Amazon is the worst plane to sell cellphones. Their fees are the highest. The specifically raise their fee for selling on their marketplace when your item is listed as a cellphone.

eBay has lower fees than Amazon, but still high (eBay + paypal).

Craigslist is best, but full of lowballers and people that e-mail you asking if you still have it and then never responding.

I just list on craiglist, here on AT and on xda-developers.com all at once.

Some people mention swappa
http://swappa.com/
But I never tried it and not sure if it is any good.

Thanks, these are good ideas. Yea I think I'll be avoiding Amazon. I'll report back if I have good success anywhere.

ive never sold a phone, they just go in the back of my desk drawer but if i did i wouldnt sell on any fee charging site when you can sell on craigslist, meet someone without giving them further contact info, and not pay a fee. craigslist has fewer listings too so they typically have higher prices than ebay as well, that is my observation as a buyer

I generally use Craigslist. I find I get about the same prices as I used to on eBay but without the fees or the douchebags that win and don't pay.

I use mostly craigslist to sell my cell phones. Too many scams out there for phones.

Craigslist is good if people are interested. You just spend a lot if remind weeding out idiotic offers. The good news is that the Gmail spam filter gets rid of most of that crap with their generic sounding emails that ask questions which were already answered in your post.

I just sold my Iphone 5S 64MB to one of those online sites that give you an instant offer based on your model, carrier and condition. I compared a bunch of sites and the prices varied quite a bit.
http://gazelle.com $195
http://usell.com $175
http://greenbuyback.com $195
http://sell-cell-phone.com $242
http://sellcell.com $193
http://technollo.com $155
http://iretron.com $199

I went with http://sell-cell-phone.com
because they offered the most. Two days later a prepaid package showed up. I wiped the memory per their instructions and sent it off. Two days later I had the full offer price deposited in my PayPal account.

That was a lot easier than going through all that auction and craigslist hassle.

I've used swappa before and I'm using it again for another phone. I hate craigslist, and ebay fees are crazy.
