Ugh, as others have tried to tell you, would you PLEASE offer them free to your employees as a perk, then move your lazy ass through perhaps the blue pages of your phone book or Google to find a needy charity near you who could put them DIRECTLY to use?Originally posted by: ViviTheMage
we can dispose of them free. we have a recycling place that'll take em and sell em, but we get none of the money.
You have a rare chance to do good on two levels here, at minimum effort.
DO IT!!

Take them to your local recycling if no charities want them. Shipping these things will cost more than they are worth.

craigslist, but in reality you're going to have to pay people to take them. Nobody wants CRTs anymore.

Where I work we are upgrading our CRTs to LCD ( Acer AL1717bbmd 178$ shipped each). This project was brought up by me and I guess im supposed to pick the LCD (which I chose the Acer) and get rid of our old CRTs (dont want em sitting around). We have Dell PC's, but since some of the older ones have CRT's we are trying to sell them, I was thinking craiglist? The director here said I could ebay them...I dont want to do shipping for this many monitors though.
Is there a website where you can auction of bulk orders like this? They are working monitors, nothing wrong with them, except we dont need em!
