where can I safely download a copy of XP?

a friend has borked his Dell laptop and needs to re install Windows XP. he does not have the original disk and I have no copies of XP. I assume there has to be a safe and legitimate place to download Windows XP 32 bit SP3 for iso. I also assume his key will work with any Windows XP 32 bit SP3 install.
 
yeah its 20 bucks shipped. he really needed the pc up and running as soon as possible though plus throwing 20 bucks down the drain sucks. anyway, I found a link over at mydigitallife.info for XP Home 32 bit SP3 OEM and installed and activated it using the Dells product key just fine.
