Why would you want to go through the hassle of finding one and paying extra for it (obviously)? When you can just d/l the AMD XP unlocking video from the THG site and you're set to do it yourself. Won't take much time and it's easy.

You could look over in For Sale/Trade or you could buy an MP chip and hope that it is factory unlocked. A majority of the MP chips are unlocked, but it is luck of the draw.

Because after I got done un-locking it, it would not even look like a CPU.

Sorry, but would you ever look at it? It will be under the cooler always!

I'm tellin ya man, get a athlonxp and get the athlonxp unlocking kit from www.highspeedpc.com it's easier than you would think it is, the kit is very thourough and gives you detailed instructions, and it only costs $11 USD it also has enough to unlock 25cpu's so there's plenty of stuff incase you screw up, also here's a tip, when unlocking scrape the L1 dots with a pin slightly to allow better conductivity.

Thank you .... may as well buy one unlocked ... are you sure they are unlocked .. .?

Yes they are unlocked. If you go to the website and go to Order - AMD CPU's you will see their list of CPU's and then below it says "Unlock CPU allowing all multipliers to be used .... $10 " ... so they charge $10 extra to unlock a CPU you buy from them (which is actually a pretty good price).
