I really want a pet meerkat, and I have up to $1000 to spend. Where can I get one?

I think if you ever watch them on television it is brutally obvious that they are a happy pack animal and would be very sad in a solitary life.

I'm not opposed to getting more than one. Or acting like a meerkat myself to keep it happy.

You already killed the squirrel that was in your charge yet you think you can care for an exotic pet?

Wouldn't you need to put some sort of a fence in the ground to stop them from getting away?

no, they are not domestic pets

They are if you dress them in a little jester costume, complete with bells. :D

They said the same thing about wolves, yet here we are thousands of years later with one in every other home.

Really bad idea. Get a ferret. About as close as you will get and it will not cause you all sorts of problems. You can visit Busch Gardens Tampa if you want to see some.
