The only versions of 64 bit I can find are the systems builders versions. I don't think I want that right? I don't want to have to call Microsoft or give them money everytime I upgrade my PC.
I see on some sites where I can order Home Premium 32 bit, and then order from Microsoft a 64bit DVD, anyone done that, how much is it to order the 64 bit dvd?

I know the Ultimate comes with the 64bit, don't know which option above is cheaper?

Thanks

Vista 64-bit is available for direct purchase in an OEM version (not transferable to a new pc, no support from MS). If you have a retail copy of Basic/Prem./Bus. then you can purchase the 64-bit DVD for $10-$15. The best value is the latter depending on the specific version that you're looking for.
