Where can I go to learn more about computers?

Is there somewhere I could go to learn more about computers?

I am an intermediate user, I have played video games for several years now and want to be able to fix by own computer problems when they arise (quite often I might add).

Is further elaboration needed on what I am seeking to learn?

Search google for articles about assembling your own computer. That itself will teach you a lot about them. As someone said, read the forums (not Off-topic). When you read about others problems and proposed solutions, then you will start getting a general idea about fixing your own problems.

Go hang around General Hardware. Go join some other tech sites' forums (AMDmb, Hexus, Overclockers, etc.)

I don't know much about computers 'cept for the one we got at my house. My mom put a couple games on 'ere an' I play 'em.

Read the articles at the main site. That's one of the reasons I first got interested in computers. I'm now going for MCSA.
