Where can I get Witched EE uncensored?

I don't own the game yet, so I would be buying the EE version retail. I was wondering where I could either buy a hard copy of the European English version of the game or download it off of an online service?

I believe that is the UK version, should have all of the gore / bodily dismemberment that you can handle!

Yep, thats the copy I ordered which shipped out yesterday. Both Steam and Impulse claim they will have the uncensored Witcher EE up in the near future though, if you prefer digital download. They only have the censored version for North America at this time though.

Dang prudes at the ESRB. If I was making a game, I wouldn't bother with the ESRB at all and just sell the game online direct to consumers.

I own the US version, and i'd love to get the uncensored Enhanced Edition, can i download it anywhere? (the entire uncencensored version i mean, not just the update)
Or are there only retail copies available at this point?

You could download the entire uncensored edition from any number of illegal sources, which I cannot link to here. You can also download the fan-made patches that add in the censored content, which is perfectly legal. I'm not 100% certain where you'd go to find these patches, I know they'd be on the aforementioned places I cannot link to, but they'll also be available on Witcher fan sites. Google will be your friend in this.

You could just pick up the retail uncensored box though and save the trouble. Unlike EA, CDP's copy protection schemes aren't designed to aggravate their customers.

Seconded. If you own the retail game already, it's not really "illegal" to torrent the same game but in "uncensored" version. Especially if it's not available in your country.

THNX guys, i just went ahead and "uncensored" the US Enhanced Edition along with the nude mod for Triss, Shani, and Adda in the sex scenes.
Now it feels more like i am playing the game the way the developers intended.

BladeVenom / Bateluer, thanks for pointing out it could be uncensored, i didn't realize that.


Great Game BTW, i already finished it once and loved it, and i'm looking forward to playing through again with the added content and new voice-overs.

That is what i ended up doing, i purchased the Enhanced Edition at my local Walmart and "patched" it to the uncensored version.

I really didnt mind paying for this game again, its one of the few times i really felt it was worth it to support the developers. :thumbsup:
Its a great game and long enough that you get your moneys worth, which is getting to be a rare combo these days.

I've been wary of using the original one (although I did download it, 586MB) because there were supposed to be a lot of graphic updates to the game, so I was waiting until they made an EE Uncensored Patch.
Any word on that?

I used this one. http://www.nakedskins.com/Over...ionid/13/p13_fileid/13 and i've got the decapitations/ dismemberment and blood.(dont care what my cards look like, ive seen them b4)
I was thinking the same as you, i wasnt sure if the other would alter my game too much.(ie: new voiceovers)
