Where can I get sxga notebook LCD drivers?

Currently windows has it set to default monitor, and it has no idea what the max res and max refresh rates are. Is there any driver I can use or utility I can use to limit it? Thanks.

the max res is whatever you can set it to, the max refresh is probably 60hz
