Im workin on a little flash animation for myself...

I want to have a picture of the globe, then zoom into the united states, then into wisconsin, then into madison...

I need some satellite photos with nothing labeled on them.... any ideas where I can get them from?

nasa.gov

and btw, if its a "little" flash animation meant for the web then you better autotrace the map

auto trace the map?

there also used to be some site where you could type in an address and get satellite coverage of the area... anyone know what that is? i thought it was mapquest.... but I dont see it on their site

There are lots of such sites around but one I specifically remember is the Microsoft terra server site. As far as the labeling, I have done things before with labels on them and this is easily fixable with a program like photoshop. All you do is either crop the photo, copy a part of the photo that is nearby the labeled area and paste it on top of the labed spot or do a clone paint spray. Anyway, here is the web site:

Also try MapQuest...if you search for you address, sometimes there will be an "Aerial Photo" tab on top.
I know that they used to have that feature, but I don't see the option for it any more.
I don't think that they have the 'Big Map' choice any longer either.
