Where can I get PC2100 DDR SDRAM real cheap?

Nowhere yet, it's going to be expensive for quite a while. 128mb sticks go for $170-$200 at Mushkin and Memman. Look up prices in the Motherboard/memory Price Guide on Anandtech.

Nucleus, the reviews so far show the performance difference between PC1600 and PC2100 as basically the difference between having a DDR system (the 2100) and a KT133a system w/ PC133 RAM (the PC1600). The only benefit to having PC1600 w/ DDR over KT133a with SDR is that you have a motherboard that will be upgradable to PC2100 later, because the performance advantage of PC1600 over a KT133a w/ good RAM seems to be fairly insignificant.

That being said, it certainly wouldn't hurt to start with PC1600 if you are in a crunch and upgrade to PC2100 later. Just make sure you start with an AMD 760 motherboard.

the cheapest are about 170. Check pricewatch.

if you are gonna do a review (for that asusa7m266), it would not be good to use pc1600 since the bus (760) will run at 100mhz too.
