where can i get Motorola Phone Tools 4.0?

I found Motorola phone tools 3.0 but according to the forums it is buggy. Is there anyone that can direct me to the newest version!?

You are intially asking for what could be considered piracy. You found something and may be using S/W that is supposed to be paid for.

I thought the program was supposed to be free!? I haven't been able to find it without a cable and i already have the cable! I assumed i was paying for the cable and the program would be downloaded like all the other cables i have bought. If the program isn't free then that sucks because i spent 40 bucks on the cable and there was no software with it!?

There is no free version, which is quite ridiculous. It is absolutely something that should be free if you own the phone, but, isn't.

Nokia makes their version of that software freely available, but, Motorola decided not to for whatever reason.

No not free but I got the software v4.0 plus the data cable for my E815 for around $25 TOTAL.

Bought it off amazon.com....

Just verified... $26 shipped. The software came with 2 data cables.. I only use the one cable but they came with a nice black suede(i guess) pouch with the motorola logo on it. Very nice.
