Wallpaper is really pretty pointless. You can't see it when you're using the computer, because it's covered up by useful windows, and you can't see it when you're not using the computer, because, well, you're not using the computer. The only point of it is for something to screw with when you're bored.

Well, I don't necessarily maximize my windows as I've got 1600x1200 and just want something worth to put on my desktop :)

I usually use this great website called Google that Nik has already mentioned. I just put in words like "wallpaper" and "1600x1200" and I get all these neato pictures

Show me the page within the first page of results when I searched for "Inspirational Wallpapers 1600x1200".

Cars or random digital art. Sorry but that doesn't inspire me. Oh, I understand, you just like being a douchebag.

How would you define inspirational then? A picture of scenery? An inspirational quote?

Ever seen those photos titled like "Bravery", "Success", "Friendship", etc. with inspirational quotes under them? Like those, just in 1600x1200.

I've found that to be true too.

You can always take those and just blow them up a bit then resize the canvas to make your own.
