Where can I get furniture for cheap?

I need two stools or something to use as speaker stands but I need to get them for absolute dirt. They need to be at least two feet tall and can be wood, plastic, I don't really care. The speakers themselves are pretty light, so the quality doesn't really matter. I was thinking maybe like Kmart or Walmart, or maybe even a craft store. Hoping to get them for like $5 apiece, is that feasible?

Thanks.

Craigslist or a garage sale. And you're still probably going to pay at least $15 per stand

EDIT: Check the free section too.

No Ikea's nearby.

You guys think it'll really cost me $15 per? If that's the case I might as well just nail some plywood together and call it a day :(

Does anyone know if places like JoAnn's or Michael's have crude, unpainted stools or stands (for crafts) that go for pretty cheap?

any craft shop is going to be expensive. Those places are built for mid-old aged women who have their spouse's money to spend like theres no tomorrow (there isnt for some of those old bats). Garage sale or DIY is your best bet.

I know a lot of kids who buy blank hoodies from Pat Catan's for like $3 apiece.

I might just end up making my own. Poop, I hate manual labor :p
